A charming pair of vintage Wedgwood creamers in the discontinued Quince pattern, made in England as part of Wedgwood’s Oven-to-Table collection.
Each creamer is crafted in substantial speckled stoneware with a softly modeled rim and generous angular handle. A continuous fruit and botanical motif wraps around the body, incorporating pears, warm russet fruit, green foliage and delicate blossoms against the characteristic oatmeal-toned ground.
Introduced in 1969, Quince has an appealing English country character that works beautifully beyond the table. The pair is equally suited for serving cream or sauces, displaying flowers or herbs, or incorporating into a layered collection of vintage English ceramics.
Both pieces are marked on the underside Quince / Wedgwood / Made in England / Oven to Table.
Set of 2.
Each measures approximately 4.2”H × 5”W × 2.8”D.
