This is a rare, artisan-decorated piece individually hand-painted and signed by the artist. It features a beautiful, vivid Southwestern scene depicting a Gambel’s Quail standing next to a flowering Prickly Pear Cactus with brilliant red blossoms. The rim is elegantly finished with a hand-brushed border of desert flowers and intricate dot work.

The prominent "RKD" signature painted on the front stands for Robert Keith DeArmond, the renowned artist behind HF Coors’ most celebrated premium Southwestern designs. Because each piece in this line was decorated by hand, no two items are exactly alike.

This platter is in absolute MINT condition. It has never been used and has been kept solely as a display piece. There are absolutely zero chips, cracks, repairs, glaze crazing, or gray utensil marks. The surface glaze is flawlessly bright and glossy.
