This … Read more This exceptional Danish modern brutalist cabinet, dating from the 1960s, is in the style of renowned designer Henning Kjærnulf. This oak piece features his signature geometric, relief-molded door panels and sides, creating a striking architectural presence. The facade is further elevated by intricate wrought-iron butterfly hinges and decorative escutcheons, which contrast beautifully against the warm, honey-toned oak grain.

The cabinet is raised on characteristically turned legs connected by a decorative wavy H-stretcher, a hallmark of Kjærnulf’s rustic yet sophisticated aesthetic. A subtly scalloped apron adds a touch of refinement to the grounded silhouette.
