Beautiful, rare desk lamp designed by W.H. Gispen for Daalderop KMD (Koninklijke Metaalwaren Fabriek Daalderop) in 1928.This one is probably from the 1940/50s.
The lamp is made of nickel-plated metal and has a bell shaped shade.
The desk lamp is called “The Tumbler” as it can be put in various positions as the heavy ball as base fonctions as contraweight. The heavy metal ball rests in a metal ring which keeps the ball in its place . I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
