Originally made for a devotional statue, likely a Virgin Mary, Child Jesus or crowned saint.

Entirely hand-carved, the crown features moulded arches, bead-like ornaments, geometric motifs and a rich combination of old gilding and silvering. Traces of red preparation remain visible beneath some of the silvered areas.

The piece retains a strong Baroque presence and an authentic aged surface.

Condition
Very good antique condition considering its age. The structure is sound, with expected wear and small losses to the gilding and silvering. The original small cross at the top is missing; the upper fixing element remains visible.
