Rare - large art pottery charger handcrafted and painted by Hans Schneider-Kraft (1923- 2006). Depicting a Swiss milk maid. Schneider was known worldwide for his "naive" style. Depicting historic agrarian Swiss life from his Steffisburg studio from 1961 through 1996. Hand painted signature on the back reads "Schneider Steffisburg" along with an incised model number "431".
Measures 14.5" diameter by 2.5" high.
In excellent vintage condition - with no chips, cracks, fissures, scratches, crazing, glaze loss, or issues of note. Please see photos for details.
