Beautiful Chinese hardwood jewelry keepsake box, decorated with exquisite mother-of-pearl shell inlay on the lid.
The inlay artwork depicts the Chinese Eight Treasures motif: wine pot, ribbons and floating cloud patterns, classic auspicious symbols representing peace and good fortune in traditional Chinese culture.
Crafted from dense dark hardwood in Zitan style, the wood surface shows natural fine grain texture. It is fitted with an ornate aged brass front lock clasp for secure storage.
