The cabinet features an architectural two-piece form finished in richly figured wood veneers. The cabinet is exceptionally well-crafted and features extensive decorative veneer, including highly figured surfaces and striking bookmatched walnut. Rounded moldings, sculptural stepped feet and curved glazing elements further distinguish the cabinet and are characteristic of Art Deco furniture of the period.

The recessed upper hutch features two large beveled glass doors flanking a central bookmatched walnut door. Beautiful curved glass panels wrap around both ends, providing display area from the front and sides. The center door opens to a small compartment fitted with a shelf and an inset white stone surface at the base. The lower cabinet provides extensive storage with open compartments with shelving and two dovetailed drawers on the lefthand side. A slide-out serving surface above the central doors is fitted with a later black glass replacement insert. The interior is finished and all original brass hardware includes recessed drawer pulls, continuous door hinges and cabinet locks. Two functioning replacement keys have been made to operate the locks on all doors. Original paper label on the reverse features a pictorial cabinet trademark and the number 19381.

CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Some surface marks and wear to top of upper hutch as per photos. The glass insert in the slide-out serving surface is a replacement. There are two holes at the back of the lower cabinet that originally accepted dowels in the upper hutch. The dowels are broken off, but the upper hutch sits solidly in place. The two-piece design allows for easier transport.
