The removable lid features a colorful pre-Columbian textile fragment preserved beneath glass, with repeating stylized figures in shades of red, golden yellow, and black against a warm brown ground. The geometric imagery and bold repetition evoke Peru’s centuries-old Andean textile traditions. Surrounding the textile is a handsome hand-hammered sterling silver frame, providing a brilliant contrast to the warmth of the solid wood base.

Measures approximately 5 inches wide, 4 inches deep, and 1.75 inches high.
