A complex representation of samsara, presided over by Yama, Lord of Death, and developed through numerous narrative scenes related to the different states of existence and dependent origination.

Tibetan-Himalayan cultural sphere, probably Tibet/Nepal.

Late 19th–early 20th century, circa 1890–1920.

It exhibits craquelure, abrasions, minor losses, and surface wear typical of its age, while retaining remarkable iconographic and decorative richness.
