The wardrobe features a tall mirrored door framed by richly grained satin walnut, a substantial moulded cornice and decorative pierced fretwork panels to either side. New natural rattan webbing has been sympathetically fitted behind the original fretwork, adding texture and contrast while retaining the character of the original design.

Internally, the wardrobe provides a full-width hanging rail and a generous open compartment suitable for coats, dresses, shirts and other garments. Its narrow footprint makes it particularly practical for bedrooms, guest rooms, dressing rooms or hallways where floor space is limited.

The warm golden colour and natural variation of the solid satin walnut are complemented by the contrasting black drop handle. Fully restored for continued use, this is an attractive and functional antique piece with considerable presence. See less
