The drawer fronts are completely plain, with the pull carved straight into the top edge of each front, so nothing projects and the case reads as a single clean block of teak. That block sits on a slender base of black lacquered steel, which lifts it off the floor and gives the piece its balance: heavy warm wood above, almost nothing below. The teak has a honey tone with an even, quiet grain. At 92 cm wide it suits a bedroom as much as an entrance or a living room, and the three deep drawers hold a great deal for the footprint. See less
