A 1970s teak sideboard with a low, quiet line: softly rounded corners, two sliding doors whose handles are hollowed straight … Read more A 1970s teak sideboard with a low, quiet line: softly rounded corners, two sliding doors whose handles are hollowed straight into the wood, and a black vinyl skin wrapping the top and both sides. It rests on a solid wood plinth base. The doors slide on their original runners and lock with a key, which comes with the piece; inside are two levels of shelving. The teak veneer has a warm, close grain that catches the light along the door fronts. It has been fully gone over in our workshop and is in excellent order for its age; the only reservation is a few small marks of white paint left on the vinyl of the right-hand side, which we could not lift and which are shown in the photographs. It measures 180 cm wide, 75 cm high and 45 cm deep. See less
