Two wide sliding doors are framed in wood and stretched with their original ecru canvas, which softens the whole front and lets the teak of the case read as a frame around it. The handles are cut in wood. The black plinth is set back beneath the case, so from a step away the piece appears to float above the floor. Inside, the shelves are adjustable. That low line is the point of it: it slips under a window, sits below a television or runs behind a sofa where a standard sideboard would block the room. It is in very good order throughout; the black plinth carries a few marks of use, shown in the photographs. It measures 164 cm wide, 52 cm high and 53 cm deep. See less
