One is a tall module with a hinged door, the other a low cube, and together they read as two clean geometric volumes that can be stacked in the eye or set side by side. The recessed chromed handles are flush with the front, so nothing breaks the silhouette, and the top edge is lipped like a shallow tray, which stops a glass or a book from sliding off. The interiors are lacquered white, a bright contrast when the door is opened. Sold as a pair. They work as a bedside pair, as end tables either side of a sofa, or simply as compact storage in an entrance. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
