These handcrafted pieces feature a structural wire and metal core coated in a thick, smooth gesso plaster finish that beautifully mimics the look and feel of porcelain. Flowers have a matte finish. The hand-painted blooms resemble carnations or chrysanthemums, detailed in vibrant shades of mustard yellow and warm coral pink. The stems are semi-flexible due to the wire core, allowing for versatile positioning and custom styling. Perfect as standalone tabletop objects, whimsical shelf accents, or clustered together into a low-profile centerpiece. There are hairline cracks, minor chips, and areas of paint loss across some of the delicate petals and leaves that add to their authentic vintage character. One petal on the warm coral colored one is broken off. One stem is broken (cracked) see all photos. These are of a very delicate nature, the reason why not very many exist approx 65 years later.
