This counter-top cash till is believed to be from the late 1800’s. These cash boxes were commonly used as a Victorian/Edwardian shop counter cash drawer. It features an internal bell that rings when the cash drawer is opened and a paper to write purchases to keep track of receipts.
The cash drawer is in very good working condition commensurate with age as shown in the photos, but there is no key for the lock. It’s a great display for a shop, bar or home.
