The vessel combines a compact, sculptural bottle form with an unusually rich color palette. Its body is executed in saturated cobalt-blue glass with dense internal speckling and texture, while the elongated neck shifts into a luminous amethyst-lavender tone. The contrast between the deep blue body and violet neck gives the piece a dramatic presence, especially when placed near natural light.

The form itself is restrained and architectural, allowing the color, transparency, and internal movement of the glass to become the focal point. Depending on the light, the body moves from deep cobalt to electric sapphire, while the neck ranges from soft lavender to smoky plum.

Bertil Vallien is internationally recognized for his sculptural approach to glass and his interest in depth, atmosphere, and optical effects.
