Founded in 1967, the company is one of Switzerland's leading lighting manufacturers and collaborated with renowned designers on high-quality, technically sophisticated lighting concepts. The Haloprofil series is considered one of their most distinctive models and a sought-after collector's item of mid-century and post-modern design.

The lamp is in very good condition with only minor signs of age and use, including two small dents on the weight, which do not detract from the authentic character of this vintage piece. It is fully functional and includes a dimmer foot switch.

The lamp rests on a heavy, black base and features a balanced, chrome-plated swivel arm with a counterweight, allowing for stepless height and angle adjustment. The striking, finely ribbed aluminum lamp head rotates on its own axis, allowing it to be used either as a floor lamp or a focused reading lamp.
