An exceptional Swedish Art Nouveau table lamp designed by sculptor Alice Nordin for Arvid Böhlmarks Lampfabrik in 1912.
Model 6530 is documented in the historic Böhlmarks archives, firmly establishing the attribution and placing the lamp within the company’s important early 20th-century production.
The sculptural metal base reflects Nordin’s background as a sculptor, with flowing organic lines characteristic of the Swedish interpretation of Art Nouveau. It is complemented by its original crocodile glass shade, whose richly textured, organic surface gives the lamp remarkable depth and character, particularly when illuminated.
