The firm operated from workshops on Rue Titon in Paris, and its furniture is documented in major auction houses including Christie’s.

This impressive buffet features a beautifully veined marble top, warm figured wood with a rich honey-golden finish, and an elegant serpentine silhouette. The façade is beautifully embellished with ornate gilt-bronze mounts, including decorative escutcheons, foliate accents, and elaborate feet. Three generously proportioned drawers sit above three paneled cabinet doors, each framed with beautifully carved molding.

The combination of the sculptural Louis XV-inspired form, elaborate bronze ornamentation, figured wood, and dramatic marble creates an exceptionally elegant statement piece. The original Haentges Frères maker’s mark is present, reading HAENTGES FRÈRES – FABRICANTS – 6 & 19 RUE TITON – PARIS.
