A breathtakingly rare, museum-quality American Art Deco five-light slip shade flush mount. Produced in the 1930s by the premium Chicago manufacturer R. Williamson & Co. (Beardslee Chandelier Manufacturing Co.), this fixture represents the pinnacle of Depression-era design from their exclusive "Series Thirty" lineup. The heavy cast frame boasts incredible geometric detailing, stylized fan crests, and floral relief work. It holds the original five matching frosted glass slipper shades that feature crisp, vertical fluting. When illuminated, the translucent glass casts a gorgeous, warm, amber-toned glow.

All 5 glass slipper shades are present and intact with no chips or cracks. Each shade is stamped "Beardslee + Chicago." There is one small screw missing on the frame but doesn't appear to affect the structure. The wires appear to be original and some are warn. One of the wire's fabric has been warn down through the plastic insulation. It was electrical taped. The tape has been removed for your viewing. less
