White cumulus clouds mass across the upper three quarters of the picture against a deep blue sky. The largest group rises at the center right, bright white where the light strikes the crowns and gray along the flattened undersides, with smaller clouds stacked in horizontal layers to the left and thinning toward the horizon. A dark green line of trees runs the full width at the horizon, and below it a band of tan and gold field fills the bottom edge. The palette is deep blue, white, gray, green and gold.

The painting measures 12 inches high by 16 inches wide. It is framed and ready to hang, and measures 18 by 22 inches framed. The frame is shown in the photographs. Signed by the artist.
