Plate XX from Aquiles Estaço’s Inlustrium Viror. ut exstant in Urbe expressi vultus, published in Rome by Antonio Lafreri in 1569 and traditionally attributed to Agostino Veneziano. The inscription notes the sculpture’s Roman collection. Later hand coloring adds warm tonal accents. Original period printing, not a modern reproduction. See less
