"Summit County Barn" is an acrylic on canvas landscape painting by Justin Wheatley, completed in 2025.
A long red barn sits high in the canvas, set back on a rise, with a pale grey roof running the length of the building and a shallow gable at the left end. Weathered grey boards and two dark openings break the red wall, and a small wooden gate stands at the right. Behind it the sky is a soft cream, close to white. Below the barn a broad field fills two thirds of the canvas, moving from bright yellow-green at the horizon down through deeper greens to near black at the bottom edge, worked wet and blended rather than in flat planes.
The painting measures 36 inches high by 24 inches wide. It is unframed, but ready to hang. Signed by the artist, lower left.
Painted in 2025 and acquired directly from the artist. Ships from Denver, Colorado.
