This Brazilian modern bar cart from the 1960s combines architectural clarity with the warmth and expressive character of imbuia wood. Its open rectangular frame is organized across two functional levels: a refined upper serving tray with a raised perimeter and a spacious lower shelf composed of evenly spaced wooden slats. Integrated handles rise naturally from the frame, while four discreet casters provide ease of movement without interrupting the cart’s clean geometry.
The upper tray displays the particularly rich figuring of the imbuia, with swirling grain patterns and tonal variations ranging from warm reddish brown and amber to deeper chocolate hues. Decades of natural aging have enriched the wood’s color and developed a subtle, luminous patina, emphasizing both the material’s depth and the craftsmanship of the construction.
