Bring a touch of timeless Palm Beach style to your home with this exceptional vintage Italian ceramic cachepot planter, made in Italy and curated for Neiman Marcus. Measuring an impressive 9" wide, this is a substantial, extra-wide cachepot with wonderful presence. Its broad proportions make it especially striking on a large table, console, plant stand, or covered patio.
Finished in a brilliant high-gloss white glaze, this heavy art pottery piece features an intricately molded basketweave (faux wicker) design with classic twisted rope trim around the upper and lower rims.
The unusually generous width provides plenty of room for a large orchid arrangement, lush fern, topiary, or plant grouping. Its wide, substantial form also makes it beautiful displayed on its own.
A wonderful example of mid-to-late 20th-century Italian craftsmanship with the crisp white glaze and woven detailing associated with classic Palm Beach, Hollywood Regency, and Grandmillennial interiors.
Original gold foil “Neiman-Marcus MADE IN ITALY” retail label remains intact on the base.
