A wonderfully sculptural heart-shaped decorative box by House Parts, Inc., dated 2004. The removable lid is richly modeled with an overlapping arrangement of seashells, including scallop shells, spiral shells, coral-like forms, and a tiny starfish. Crafted from molded resin with an antiqued ivory finish which emphasizes the richly textured seashell design, and accentuates the intricate textures; giving the piece the appearance of a collected architectural fragment.
Both decorative and functional, this substantial box is ideal for holding jewelry, keepsakes, or small treasures. It would be a charming addition to a coastal interior, beach house, dressing table, or layered tabletop display.
Marked and dated “2004” along the edge of the lid. Original House Parts label underneath reads “Designed in Atlanta, Made in China.”
