A richly painted fruit-and-vine border motif turns this (gorgeous) large vintage wall mirror into a decorative focal point.
Grapes, peaches, plums, leafy tendrils, and blue flowers wind across a warm golden-ochre / yellow background, framed by layered gold-toned moldings.
The hand-painted details lend the frame the character of a still-life painting, while beveled mirror glass adds depth and catches the light.
Subtle variations in the painted and antiqued finishes complement its Italian-inspired, Old World appearance.
Measuring approximately 49½ by 37 inches, this substantial rectangular mirror makes a striking statement above a mantel, dining room buffet, or entryway console.
