Rising from a substantial circular weighted base, the narrow stem transitions gracefully into a continuous arc, suspending the 12-inch dome with an almost floating appearance. The shade features a white reflective interior and distinctive circular perforated ventilation detail at the crown, creating a beautiful focused pool of light.

The lamp features three lighting modes, allowing the illumination to be adjusted for different levels of brightness and atmosphere. Particularly dramatic when illuminated, it works beautifully as both a functional reading lamp and a sculptural statement light.

Its minimal structure, highly reflective brass finish and dramatic dome silhouette give the piece a sophisticated late Mid-Century Modern / Space Age character with strong Italian Modern design influence.

The lamp retains its vintage Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Listed Portable Lamp label, file E-20773. Manufacturer is currently unidentified.

Dimensions: Approximately 62” H; shade approximately 12” diameter.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor age-appropriate surface wear, fine scratches and patina consistent with age and use. Structurally sound and all three lighting modes are working. See less
