Charming vintage 1990s wooden quilt display stand featuring an exceptionally sculptural heart motif.
Standing approximately four feet tall, this substantial floor stand is constructed from warm honey-toned wood with a large open heart-shaped frame atop a tall central post. The post rises from an especially distinctive layered heart base, featuring a large heart-shaped platform with a smaller raised heart inset above it.
Designed as a single quilt or textile display stand, the open upper heart provides a charming place to drape and display a favorite quilt, coverlet, afghan, or textile. Its sculptural construction also allows the piece to function beautifully as a decorative object even when empty.
The combination of natural wood, prominent grain, rounded edges, and repeated heart forms gives this piece the unmistakable decorative character associated with 1990s country, cottage, folk-art, and Americana interiors.
