A beautiful pair of Chinese Famille Rose porcelain covered jars. The white ground is hand-painted with detailed oxen in a traditional "Five Oxen" (Wu Niu Tu) motif, accompanied by calligraphy and various red seal marks. The shoulders and bases are decorated with intricate, colorful geometric and floral borders. Each jar has a matching domed lid with a gold finial and bears a blue four-character "Qianlong Yuzhi" (Imperial Qianlong) seal mark on the base.
