Evoking the iconic hand-painted look of classic Dutch Gouda plateel pottery, this piece features an elegant, elongated brass body completely adorned in a vibrant, cold-enamel abstract design. The pattern showcases a bold mix of geometric shapes and stylized organic forms rendered in a rich palette of midnight black, cream, ochre yellow, and jade green. The polished brass base and flared rim offer a beautiful metallic contrast to the matte and satin textures of the painted body, catching the light elegantly from any angle. It is an ideal statement piece for a mantel, shelving unit, or side table. See less

The polished brass elements retain an excellent luster. The fragile hand-painted enamel body shows a few honest signs of its journey through time, including fine surface crazing, faint hairline scratches, and some small paint chips (visible in photos). These imperfections do not detract from its stunning overall display value and add authentic antique character. Please review all high-resolution macro photos for an accurate look at the surface texture. less
