Pair of Italian bedside tables from the Artona series, designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa and produced by Maxalto. Made of laminated walnut veneer, the layering is highlighted by the distinctive chamfering at the end, typical of the Artona series.
The bedside tables are composed of two opening parts, assembled together with two metal hinges, allowing them to easily open to reveal four internal shelves.
The doors can be kept closed, fully opened, or opened at a 90° angle.
The bedside tables are mounted on casters.
Made in Italy in the 1970s. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
