Beautiful antique devotional shrine.
Leather-covered wooden shrine frame with symbols of Florence.
Richard Ginori tile decorated with the Madonna degli Ulivi (Our Lady of the Olives) by Nicolo Barabino, 1888, now in Santa Maria della Cella in Sampierdarena (Genoa).
Beautiful, vibrant colors.
Signed on the back: Maison De Cluny Firenze. An important and well-known Florentine antiques dealer, where wealthy Europeans on the Grand Tour would purchase art.
A piece of history certified by the signature on the back.
Good condition. Frame with some signs of aging.
The tile is intact throughout, with a very small lack of varnish, as shown in the photo. This piece has an attribution mark,
