A decorative brass box with a cedarwood core, featuring Art Deco ornamentation with Asian motifs such as elephants, dancing figures, and Buddha, dating from the 1950s.
The box stands on small feet and has a hinged lid, which appears to be missing its narrow opening lip. The textured brass plates are burnished and heavily worn.
