Pair of bedside tables by maison roméo, paris, attributed to jean-claude mahey, dating from the 1970s.
each table features two drawers and black fronts accented with gilt metal trim. The drawers are fitted with matching cylindrical handles.
the sides are also black, and the tops are covered with black glass.
dimensions of each table: w 56 × h 40 × d 38 cm.
conditions are consistent with their age. Some minor marks, micro-scratches, and discreet blemishes are visible on the surfaces and metal parts. A small chip/loss is visible on one of the tops, as shown in the photographs. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
