An elegant pair of Swedish Grace side chairs from the 1920s, crafted in beautifully figured birch and distinguished by their highly decorative openwork backs.

The oval backrests immediately draw the eye. Within each frame, the wood has been shaped into a symmetrical, almost heraldic composition of sweeping curves and stylized botanical forms. The motif gives the chairs a strong architectural presence while retaining the lightness and refinement associated with Swedish Grace.
