Beautiful antique oak swivel piano / organ stool, dating approximately to the late 19th or early 20th century.
This is a particularly attractive example, with turned and fluted oak legs, a round adjustable seat, and wonderful cast metal claw feet holding glass balls. The stool swivels on its original screw mechanism and can be raised or lowered considerably depending on the desired seating height.
It has a rich dark oak finish and displays beautifully. Perfect for use with a piano or organ, as an occasional stool, vanity stool, plant stand, or simply as a decorative antique accent.

Seat diameter: approximately 14.5 inches
Seat height fully lowered: approximately 18.125 inches
Seat height fully raised: approximately 24.125 inches
Distance between feet: approximately 13.25 inches
It weighs 13lbs 5oz
I have not found a maker's mark.
CONDITION: This stool is in good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. There are a few minor scratches, small dents and marks to the wood, most of which could be minimized with furniture wax or polish if desired. Phillips screws have been used underneath to secure the seat at some point. Seat is secure, solid and functional (it swivels!). There is also some age-related wear and patina to the metal claw foot mounts. The glass balls remain intact and the adjustable swivel mechanism is working. Examine all the pictures closely.
