A striking American Mid-Century Modern table lamp dating to the 1960s, constructed from sculpted solid hardwood elements arranged around a slender brass central stem.
The sweeping hardwood forms cross and open upward in an abstract flower or flame-like composition, creating a sculptural silhouette that changes noticeably depending on viewing angle. A compact circular hardwood base keeps the design visually light while allowing the carved wood elements to remain the focus.
The lamp combines the warmth of walnut with restrained brass detailing in a distinctly organic modernist vocabulary characteristic of American lighting design of the period.

Condition: Wood is in mint condition, with no scrapes, no scratches, no wood loss, and no discoloration, and has a nice subtle sheen. The base is also in mint condition, as well as the bottom felt, which is intact with no rips or holes and looks to have never been removed. Brass rods and hardware are lightly patinated and aging well.
