Pair of French Country end tables (or low nightstands) from the Cabernet II Collection by Drexel Heritage, circa 1970-1980. With a warm, rich oak finish, each table features a carved apron with raised leafy vine details, cabriole legs, and a single dovetailed drawer accented by a floral brass pull knob. The square tops showcase beautiful parquet / bookmatched oak wood graining with a sculpted edge profile.
The Cabernet / Cabernet II series was one of Drexel’s premier French Provincial / Country lines, produced in the 1970s through the late 1980s. The drawer stamp logo and included paper tags reflect this mid-to-late 20th-century production era.
