The natural wood box features a sliding lid decorated with an architectural rendering of a grand townhouse, the Mrs. John L. Strong New York name and crown emblem, and “Encyclopedic House Box” lettering.

The lid slides completely away to reveal a spacious unfinished wood interior. The understated natural finish and architectural illustration give the piece the character of a traditional library or writing-desk accessory.
