It is both bold and charming. Made from fine ironstone, "Melody" features a rim which is both lightly fluted and scalloped. The alternating floral and geometric panels give depth and texture, while the center bouquet of roses and blossoms add English charm.

I have been collecting blue & white plates for 20+ years, most of them coming from a source in Europe (back when the postage was still affordable). I'm very picky about condition and quality, and he never disappointed.

When I decided to use only plates and platters with horses, the others I'd been collecting were no longer needed. This is one of the 20+ plates and platters for sale -- be sure to look at my other listings if you're a blue & white fan, as I surely am.
