Its long, low structure is framed by substantial upright ends, with six drawers arranged above three cupboard compartments and a plank-built top extending across the full width.

The design makes expressive use of the pine itself, with visible knots, varied grain and a warm honey-brown surface. Chunky wooden handles are shaped with deep semicircular finger grips, repeating across both drawers and doors. The vertically boarded cupboard fronts contrast with the horizontal lines of the top and drawers, while the projecting end posts give the piece a particularly architectural profile. Inside, each cupboard provides two levels of storage.
