This chest features small scenes of wild animal hunts on the front, overseen by two larger figures.

The lid is decorated with a central scene of rejoicing—perhaps the wedding of the two figures positioned on either side of this scene, for whom the chest was intended.

The chest is in good overall condition; unfortunately, the pyrography scenes are partially worn away. It shows signs of wear, some missing pieces, a molding that may have been replaced (at the bottom), and an old but not original lock.
