Lounge Chair Model FD-146 designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for France & Daverkosen in Denmark circa 1950’s. This chair features frame with distinctive curved arms and a seven spindles back rest design. Original cushions have been professionally restored and upholstered in textured commercial grade fabric by Crypton.
Professionally re-upholstered cushions using Crypton stain resistant fabric with button tufting over the original spring base and back cushion. The upholstery design was thoughtfully executed to faithfully replicate the original cushion design. All original frame with original surviving finish, cleaned and oiled. Nice and tight and in excellent vintage condition as found with only minimal imperfections as to be expected with age. Overall a refreshed and beautiful example of this sought after chair.
