Striking vintage designer ring by Mavito Fine Jewelry, crafted in substantial 18K yellow gold and centered by a high-domed raspberry-red cabochon believed to be rubellite/pink tourmaline.
The sculptural mounting features an architectural asymmetrical spiral/ribbed surround that wraps around the cushion-shaped cabochon, with broad polished shoulders and an open-backed setting allowing light through the gemstone.

Stone is raspberry-red cabochon, believed to be rubellite/pink tourmaline; gemstone identification has not been independently certified.
