Vintage cut glass perfume tantalus, or fragrance caddy, in the antique tantalus style: a hinged cut-glass lid on a footed gold-tone brass and glass stand, opening to reveal six cut-glass bottles with gold-tone collars and faceted crystal ball stoppers, arranged around a central gold-tone pinecone finial. Side chains connect the lid to the base.
Measurements:
- Overall height is 14.5"
- Base width is 6.5" at the widest point across the feet.
- Each bottle stands 3.75" tall (2" glass body, 1.75" stopper and collar) and measures 1.25" in diameter at the base.
Made in Europe in the 1960s to 1990s, most likely in France, Italy, or Czechoslovakia.
Excellent vintage condition. Patina developing in some gold tone areas. Decoration is immaculate and everything functions properly.
