The chair features a tall architectural silhouette with gracefully curved wings framed in rich dark-finished wood. Classical detailing includes carved floral rosettes at the corners, fluted tapered legs, a carved center apron, and antiqued brass nailhead trim.

The interior is upholstered in a sophisticated pale cream and soft blush floral damask, while the exterior wing and back panels are finished in a complementary neutral woven textile. A generously proportioned loose seat cushion provides excellent comfort while maintaining the chair's tailored profile.

The original Hickory Chair manufacturer's label remains attached underneath. The label identifies the piece as a body-wing chair and specifies a spring-down seat cushion incorporating foam, polyester fiber, grey duck down and grey duck feathers.
