Vintage 1975 Duncan Ceramic Products wall plaque featuring a high-relief portrait of a Gibson Girl-style lady in an oversized wide-brimmed hat with an enormous sculptural bow.
This charming 3-dimensional ceramic plaque reproduces a design attributed to Erma Gilliland Duncan and dated 1910, with the actual plaque produced by Duncan Ceramic Products, Inc. in 1975.
The beautifully dimensional portrait features a fashionable Edwardian-era woman with dark wavy hair, delicate painted facial details, an oversized rust-colored hat and dramatic matching bow. The relief is mounted within a substantial oval frame with a rich faux-wood finish.
The reverse bears the original Duncan Ceramic Products marking and 1975 copyright/date, along with an additional production marking.
